Van Transport to and from the Seattle Airport Hilton Hotel
Two Vans will be at the Hilton Saturday morning, April 12, leaving at 7:15 a.m. for St. Margaret's Church. These are Mission to Seafarers vans and the ride is free. If a guest misses the van, they are on their own to get to St. Margaret's. The vans will return to the Hilton following the conference which should end between 5 and 5:30 p.m. Saturday.
About The Conference
Our Conference host is St. Margaret's Episcopal Church in Bellevue, WA. The conference was moved from the Seattle Airport Hilton Hotel while the hotel and its employees seek resolution on labor issues. Click Here to read Bishop Rickel's Statement.
Hotel accommodations remain at the Seattle Airport Hilton Hotel. Shuttle bus transers to the conference will be provided. Click Here for hotel reservations.
Conference keynote speakers include: Presiding Bishop Katharine Jefferts Schori, Ph.D., former oceanographer with the NOAA, Bishop Steven Charleston, President and Dean of the Episcopal Divinity School, Cambridge, MA and a Native American elder, and Dr. Sallie McFague, a Distinguished Theologian in Residence at the Vancouver School of Theology, in Vancouver, B.C.
The Saturday Conference schedule includes three major addresses. A series of four panels and three lunch time workshops will also be offered. Panels include Advocacy and Entrepreneurship - Implementation in the Community, The Genesis Covenant, The Environment and Applied Theology, and Science, Faith and the Environment. The day will conclude as we gather at the Table to share in the Great Thanksgiving
